American Civil War Riverine Historical Naval Battle on the Mississippi * Full Speed Ahead! Home-brewed FAST PLAY ACW miniature rules

A call to able-bodied seaman of the SWA. Join the proud fleet of Rebel Cotton-clad, wood rams OR the Union's big-guns fleet of ironclad behemoths. A fast playing, easy-to-learn miniature rules system for fighting historical riverine naval battles in an early Civil War setting on the waters of the Mississippi. Note for players of many of the detail-intensive, filling-out-tedious logs, and tortuously long naval rules, that Full Speed Ahead! (FSA!) is a home brewed, tested and fun-oriented, simple charts, set of rules. Beginners encouraged.

June 13th, the outskirts of Carentan. The German's counterattack is faltering and the 101st Airborne, reinforced by the 2nd Armored and 29th Infantry divisions, are pushing them back. Your platoon has been tasked with securing a crossroad that the Germans have held open for their retreating armor and infantry. The company XO said Shermans and some men were headed your way, but your buddy's platoon just got nailed by 88's and someone swore they could see a Tiger through the hedgerows. There's the manor house the Jerry's are held up in, time to earn your pay! Chain of Command is an 28mm WWII Skirmish game with an interesting random activation mechanic. Players alternate activating their teams and squads in an effort to secure objectives and destroy the enemy. Beginners encouraged.

Russia 1812: Retreat From Borodino * Trench Wars (modified)

French and Russians clash on the road to Moscow. 25mm skirmish game using the Trench Wars rules modified for Napoleonic warfare. Novices, children with adults, rules lawyers and GMs looking for revenge welcome. Event sponsored by the New York Wargamers Association and the Connecticut Game Club. NYWA and CGC members, family and friends always welcome. Special note: the start time for this event will be 11am. Beginners encouraged.

In Hanghai China during the 1920s, Zan Zou the Iron Claw, the leader of the Deadly Long Sword Gang, exercises control over the city, openly killing anyone who gets in his way. Until one day, the Nolan Brothers come to stake their claim. Members of the Deadly Long Sword Gang don't like the Nolan Brothers moving in and a massive brawl ensues; more than fifty gangsters are defeated by Nolan Brothers' bodyguard of three martial arts masters. So begins the thrilling struggle for Hanghai, don't miss a single astounding moment! Nothing like it, no risk too great, no danger too daring! Kids are welcome and adults that can play like kids are welcome too! Beginners encouraged.

On May 3rd, 1863. Southwest of Fredricksburg. As Uncle John Sedgewick pushes the VI corps south towards Chancellorsville where Hooker wants him, they encounter Confederate resistance at Salem Church. Can the VI corps break through and get to the real battle or will Wilcox be able to keep them at bay like Lee has ordered? Beginners encouraged.

Bloodbath! The Green Gang takes on the Red Marias * Home Crafted

1920's China Following a 1927 emergency in Hanghai,and the withdrawal of British regular forces,the European settlers had to rely on themselves. Residents formed the Hanghai Volunteer Corps (HVC).Due Hanghai's political status and economical power it is infested with very diverse criminal elements,political activists,spies and operatives you name it. Incidents involving firearms are frequent this is where the 'Red Maria" comes in. They can carry 50 HVC ( several vehicles together) or Red Maria's are used to transport the notorious Green Gang from Hanghai Courts to Hanghai Prison.Conveyed through the city streets armored cars at the front and the rear is a convoy of vehicles transporting 50 gang members. Earlier attempts to transport gang members to jail have always ended with the convoy being ambushed and the gangsters being released by rescuers. Will that be the case this time? (Loosely based on actual events!) Beginners encouraged.

On May 5th, 1864. A portion of the V Corps - Army of the Potomac and a part of Ewell's Second Army Corps fight over one of the few pieces of open ground at the start of the Battle of the Wilderness. Beginners encouraged.
