For over ten years now, Two Tin Soldiers has been a co-sponsor of Council of Five Nations, helping fill our schedule with lots of good Historical Miniatures events. Many thanks to Steve Keyer and his crew of local-and-regional historial miniatures aficionados.

Ever want to fly in a WW1 plane with your guns firing at any thing in the sky? Well, then this is the game for you! Wings of War is a fast paced game of air combat. We will start off easy for those who need it, and work are way up to Balloon busting, and other scenarios. Beginners encouraged.

Burgoyne said that the British in Boston needed some elbow room, and Howe was more than ready to provide it. Take part in the British amphibious landing of the Charlestown. You can either command the Kings troops or fight them back with the plucky Army of Observation! An award winning game with fantastic terrain and figures. Novices very, very, very welcome! Beginners strongly encouraged.

1/1200 scale Napoleonic sailing ship game. The Royal Navy has Brest blockaded....on shore winds have helped. However, the winds have shifted and the Brest Squadron is sailing out to engage the Royal Navy.Each player will command a squadron. The fleet size will depend on the number of players. If you want the rules, ship list, map, and senerio before the game, please e-mail me after September 1st at EBeirne /at/ twcny.rr.com and I will send them to you. You should sleect which fleet you want to be part of. Signal books will be given out at the game. Beginners encouraged.

Close Action is a tactical simulation of naval combat in the Age Of Fighting Sail. Players command one sailing ship ranging in size from a small eight gun Brig to a 130-gun, four-deck ship of the line. You will plot your ship‚ s movement, give orders to your sailors and marines, fire the Great Guns, and send signals to the rest of your fleet. Realistic movement, combat, and limited communications rules will make you feel like you are part of the real battle being simulated. Captains and Admirals needed!  The scenario will be based on the number of players, but check the website for additional details as the convention approaches. Rules will be taught and beginners are welcome.[BOLD] Please note that this is a 2-slot event. Beginners encouraged.

A platoon of US Marines have a mission of seaching out and destorying insurgents in their AO while trying to stay alive themselves. Snipers, IEds and gunfights that make your teeth itch. Beginners encouraged.

Eastern Front 1943. German Recon Group must capyure and hold a bridge, while Russian troops retreat across and either destroy the bridge or hold it for a counterattack. The objectives are easy for the German players; the Russian players will need both luck and careful timing to be successful. Beginners encouraged.

Play a SYW battle using the newest Koenig Krieg edition from Australia, just released in June. Command a force of Prussians, Austrians or Russians vying for mastery of the battlefield. Glory and honor await the brave! Beginners encouraged.

While Napoleon slugs it out with the Prussians at Ligney, Ney is driving towards the English to secure the crossroads of Quatre-Bras and keep the British Allies from linking up with the Krauts. But Wellington is racing to get there first! Beginners encouraged.

It is 1865, The 34th ME is heading home to Portland. But that is not where they end up. As their ship gets beached on shore, there is no other course of action but to move inland and explore. Battle of Hubbardton, July 1777 * Crucible of War

“Gentleman Johnny" Burgoyne is moving south to capture the great prize of Albany and cut the colonies in half. After a succesful and short seige resulting in the British re-capture of Fort Ticonderoga on July 6, the British & their German mercenaries are again chomping at the heels of the retreating Americans. But on July 7, 1777 the Americans make a heroic rearguard stand at the tiny little hamlet of Hubbardton, Vermont. This fierce and bloody struggle surprising claimed significant casualties on both sides. However, the British would feel for the first time the American resolve to resist their invasion from Canada resulting three months later with the capitulation of General Burgoyne to General Gates at Saratoga. Beginners encouraged.

This is a typical ACW Engagement that could have taken place any time during the Civil War.Get into the town and find the much needed supplies and get out. If there are enemy troops, push them out and hurt them while minimizing your own loss. Of course you should expect the unexpected it is war after all. Kids with parents welcome. Beginners encouraged.

The 3d Battalion 502nd Airborne is assigned the mission to clear out a German held farm on the road to Carentan. Can the paratroopers defeat their Fallschirmjaeger enemies? This game is a good oppurtunity for new players to gian some experience with the Battle Front rules and system. Beginners encouraged.

World War 2, June 1944, Somewhere in Normandy after the breakout from the beaches: While on patrol with Easy Company, Pfc. Dave Cheng wandered off while the squad was taking ten. Seeing a sign pointing up a trail to Chateaux Beau Vin, Cheng took off saying that he didn't have 'em, and if he had 'em, he wouldn't smoke 'em. And off he went to see the vineyard, which, by coincidence he had just read about in his wine club newsletter that his father had been forwarding to him. He just couldn't pass up the opportunity to taste their '42 La Vie Douce to see if it was just as Jovial and Impertinent as they claimed. The squad would have left him behind, BUT he had the radio! As they search for him, they are finding the sector filthy with retreating German defenders and stragglers separated from their units. Join the squad to find Pfc. Cheng, already 20 minutes overdue from a ten-minute break and most likely captured along with the precious radio. Beginners encouraged.

The Train * The Sword and the Flame (15mm)

A British supply train has derailed. The area needs to be secured before a salvage operation can be undertaken. But will that salvage operation be conducted by the British or the Dervish? Kid-friendly for ages 10 and up; younger than that will require a supervising adult to help out. Beginners encouraged.

Fighting Chinese Pirates with the U.S. MARINES * Home Crafted

While steaming down the Yangtze, a merchant vessel operated by American Capt. Barker suddenly went aground. Within minutes the crew had been set upon by a villainous a gang of cutthroats Barker had ever seen. At about the same time the city of Changsha was captured by bandits. Not too long after that U.S. and British river patrols arrived on the scene and the fun began! Beginners encouraged.
