Horror Games

If you’re a fan of things that go bump in the night, we’ve got a whole weekend of ghoulish games to entertain you.

Friday Afternoon  2:00-6:00 PM  (Slot B)

Intro to CoC: The Death Of Randolph Corrbin * Call of Cthulhu 6th Ed.
B-RPG-2 * $ 2
Game Master: John Whitehead * 6 Players * E10
A dear friend has died under mysterious circumstances. He had seemed frightened by a recent turn of events that he had set in motion, but had lost control of... He never did say. The Authorities are baffled. Perhaps you can find out what has happened to your friend. This scenario is geared toward new players who are unfamiliar with CoC, and would like to learn more. Beginners encouraged.

Friday Night  7:00-11:00+ PM  (Slot C)

Delta Green: The Colony * Call of Cthulhu
C-RPG-1 * $ 2
Game Master: Devin Fortman * 6 Players * Mature18
May, 1941. In their last push through Egypt, the German Army discovered an ancient temple buried in the Libyan Desert, the description of which caught the eyes of Karotechia, the SS' secret occult division. Most of the unit has been recalled, but a few unlucky grunts are ordered to stay behind and guard the site until experts can be flown in to investigate. It's a lousy job, but there's not much to do besides sweat it out and hope those eggheads get here before the British tanks roll in... right? Beginners encouraged.

Dead Light * Call of Cthulhu, 7th Ed
C-RPG-3 * $ 5
Game Master: Andre Kruppa - Game Soapbox Productions * 6 Players * Mature18
No rules knowledge is required, but skilled roleplaying is a must. A theatrical-style tabletop game using lights and sound, Dead Light is a 7th edition (Quick Start) Call of Cthulhu scenario for 3-6 players that was supplied to Kickstarter backers intended for mature players only. (Please if you are a backer and plan to play do NOT read this scenario until after the event!) This session may be recorded for podcasting and/or video and players may be asked to sign a release. A brutal storm is lashing land and sea. The howling wind and battering rain is too much for safe driving with roads turning into rivers of mud, trees falling, and flooding threatening to wash away bridges. The race against the storm is rapidly becoming a disaster and the need to seek shelter is plain. Once the storm abates the roads will be not be navigable for some time. The sense that something awful lurks in the darkness can only be banished by light and warmth. Please note the higher cost of this RPG event.

This session may be recorded for podcasting and players may be asked to sign a release. Your unit has been encamped in the Libyan Desert near strange ruins recently exposed in the sands. Once a halt was ordered and the order to set up camp given, you knew your fate was sealed. It is clear that the rest of the army is falling back and the British forces are pressing. It is only a matter of time before you are overrun and must make the ultimate sacrifice for the fatherland. In the meantime the desert awaits, the ruins hint of strange horrors from the past, and evil lurks in the darkness creeping ever closer. Please note the higher cost of this RPG event.
