During the winter, the family of Larry Conley donated his collection of 197 hardback SF/Fantasy books to the SWA. We're not really interested in running a lending library for club members, so we've decided to auction off the books. The proceeds of this auction will go to benefit the folks for whom war is not a game, but a reality - U.S. SOLDIERS! Everything we get from this auction will be passed along as a donation to the USO, to help them in their mission of supporting and helping our troops and their families.

The rules:

1. This will be a sealed bid auction. The winning bids will not be revealed until the auction is completed.
2. You may bid once per book. If you wish to bid on several books, we encourage you to do so as a single form submission.
3. Include your name and contact information with the bid.
4. The deadline for bids is July 4.
5. Minimum bid is $2. Bids must be in multiples of 25 cents.
6. If there is a tie bid, the winner will be the bid which was received first.
7. Winning bids can be picked up from Eric Paperman at his home in Niskayuna, or at the July 18th Game-a-thon.
8. We really don't want to mail books, but are willing to under these terms: Postage for each book is $3.00, plus an additional Handling donation to the USO of $5.00. If you get multiple books, Postage is $3 each, and there is one $5 Handling donation.
9. Winning bids must be paid by either cash, check or money order (made out to "Schenectady Wargamers Association", please). No credit cards.

The books are listed in order of the first author named on the cover. They are sold "as is" - many books do not have their dust jackets.
