On Target 2009 - Historical Miniatures Con, Feb 20-21, 2009

Mark Zaslavsky, long-time SWA supporter and frequent Council GM, would like us to know about On Target 2009, a historical miniatures convention at Fort Dix, NJ, on Feb 20-21, 2009.

ON TARGET 2009 - A Historical Miniature War Game Officer and NCO Professional Development Program and Gaming Event

Military leaders for centuries have "war gamed" or analyzed a battle to determine if they should enter combat. Historians have analyzed these battles afterwards. Historical war gaming allows you to replay battles in history, using miniature figurines to determine if the outcome could have been changed.  Rules allow for tactics, logistics, changes in plans and execution.  This event will challenge you and give you a perspective on the combat you may not have expected.  Join the operations by coming to the War Game Event.
