FCS Gaming League: Game Weekend Update
We have finalized the schedule for the game weekend for the FCS Gaming League.
Here are the details as they stand. For updated details as they become
available see the web site (http://www.firstduty.com/add/league/dd_league_schedule.html).
On November 19, 20, and 21 we will host a game weekend consisting of 6 or
more games (both FCSGL and RPGA) split by BBQ and conversation. We
will also discuss the administrative points for the future of Pinnacle's
Spire, Dragons Den, the Champions Guild, and the new books allowed in the
League. The cost of the weekend is a food item of your choice or $5.00.
This event is VERY SPECIAL in that it will not only host the Season #6 Championship,
but also the League's 100th game and our 3rd Aniversary!!! There will
be cake to "let them eat...". If that still isn't enough for you, this
event kicks off National Games Week (11/21 - 11/27) for the League.
Follow up the Sunday game with the Wednesday (11/24) game and join people
in over 15,000 locations nationwide!
Click "Read More..." below to see the full event schedule.
It is recommended that you pre-register for your events. Walk-ins are
welcome, but it's better if we know we'll have legal tables (min 4).
Pre-register by sending email to gaming@firstduty.com.
Friday 7:00pm - 11:00pm
RPGA LG - The Traitor's Road
Table #1
GM: Janet Kuhlmann
APL 2-10
Seats Available: 4 as of 10/29/2004
Description: A lady in distress - a diplomat, not a damsel. In the
machinations of the great, the good and the not-so-good, appearances are
not all that deceive. An adventure for APLs 2-10.
Saturday 10:00am - 3:00pm
RPGA LG - Nine Lives
Table #1
GM: Harold Austin
APL 2-10
Seats Available: 6
Description: Magic is such a wonderful thing. Its complexity challenges
its students, its beauty dazzles the blooded, and its mystery impresses all.
But one day in Greyhawk, magic shows its unpredictable side and unleashes
something never before seen. One plea, one in ned, one to bear witness,
and six to complete the task, nine lives intertwined for one day. An
adventure for APLs 2-10.
Saturday 10:00am - 3:00pm
FCSGL - Vampire City (Master Level)
Table #2
GM: Christopher J. Ford
Seats Available: 5
Description: Inspired by the city of Manifest, a charismatic leader of the
undead has chosen to set up a permanent settlement. Why is this weird?
Because it's NOT being done through the evisceration of an existing city.
This time, the lifeless are "creating" a new life. They claim they
will leave their neighbors alone if they themselves are left at peace.
Should the kingdoms of Alua unite in its destruction? Or leave them
at peace? Your answer is expected in 3 days. If you do not return
by then, you will be assumed lost to the world of the living and everyone
in the region, including you, will be purged.
Saturday 4:00pm - 8:00pm
RPGA LG - Key to the Grave
Table #1
GM: Justin Zacek
APL ?
Seats Available: 6
Description: Sequel to "Mad God's Key". You do not need to have played
"Mad God's Key" to play in this adventure.
Saturday 4:00pm - 10:00pm
FCSGL Championship - Triad (Master Level)
Table #3
GM: Christopher J. Ford
Seats Available: 6+
Description: The champions have moved openly against the Demon King in the
past. And he has openly plotted against them. But now evidence
appears that he is not alone in his plots. Dark Lord Axuvras is rumored
to have been behind the attack on the dam at Pinnacle's Spire. And
now a third party has entered the picture. Where did this alliance
come from? And what is its goal?
Sunday 9:00am - 1:00pm
RPGA LG - Witch Hunt
Table #1
GM: Janet Kuhlmann
APL 4 - 14
Seats Available: 4 as of 10/29/2004

of the Old One to live. Raise stake and flame, that their evil may be cleansed
from the land in the fires of purity." Thi old admonition has been passed
down for generations to Dunmarsh, but has manifested. An adventure for character
