New to group

()

I was wondering what games are currently being played on a regular basis. I looked at the calendar but some of the abreviations dont ring a bell

Re: New to group

I will be there tonight for 5 or 6 hours, about 6pm to 11 or midnight.

Historical minis are usually seen at Game-a-thons (which are every 2 months, the next one is August 20). Different people do various periods. The guys at Two Tin Soldiers in Troy reputedly game weekly, and I know Jason Murphy has been experimenting recently with American Revolutionary minis. Eric Paperman has a wide collection and often runs games at game-a-thons anywhere from ancients to WW2.

Historical boardgaming is a little more fragmented.

re new

I stopped by the Eastern Parkway location earlier this evening. I remember the place from my teens but i think i had only been there once. I was greeted at the door by 2 big dogs and a nice lady. She informed me there was only gaming on saturday nights an suggested i contact Dave Chang? not sure of the spelling sorry if its wrong. I am looking for historical gaming, last 10 yrs most of my gaming has been done via computer. Lady said Dave might know of some home players or another place in the area where gaming takes place

Re: New to group

I am currently running 2 games of Ars Magica, an RPG, one set in Scotland and the other in Belgium.

Star Fleet Battles gets played occasionally.

I'm looking for some people to do historical board wargaming with.

There is gaming of various sorts at the area game stores.

List your preferences, and I'll see if we can't hook you up some where.
