Spanish AC's and miss columns
Now that the campaign is over I am recalculating ship data based on various new sources I have found. As I mentioned some monitors are going to lose out a little on armor and guns. Sadly the Spanish will have their 6 guns reduced to 5's, really hurting the Spanish ACs.
I am still thinking about miss columns. There are two possiblities:
1. I could add a miss column onto the Spanish ACs, their size puts them right on the edge of where I allow for a single miss column.
2. Unless there is enthusiasm out there for option 1 above I am inclined to say too bad for the Spanish and modify my formula for creating miss columns downward. The new formula I am considering would eliminate the miss on the Texas, reduce the M Puritan from 2 to 1 miss columns, and the other monitors from 3 to 2 miss columns.
3. I am still interested in discussing the possibility of eliminating miss columns entirely, but I am not convinced. There needs to be some mechanism to make smaller ships harder to hit and the miss columns are the simplest fastest method.

Re: Spanish AC's and miss columns
Point value should remain the same, the point value is more a representative of their political value than it is there battle effectivness. The US Cruisers are worth 10, certainly not that good in battle though.

Drop the number of miss columns for now - also I trust the points value of the spanish ACs is going to drop as well? The change from 6s to 5s is very significant ;-(
