Tsushima Victory

Russian ships are getting slightly upgraded. My original stats were based on Janes, he seems to have a distinct pro-Japanese/anti-Russian bias. Comparison to Conways helps the Russians out some. I will post the revisions sometime today.

Historically speaking do you think the Russians had any chance for victory? And what would such a victory look like? Imagine that the Japanese fleet co-ordinates and manuvers poorly while the Russians saty concentrated and maximize their firepower.

Sorry Jason the rules are incomplete and in rewrite and therefore not yet posted. I am encouraged by your interest and will try to have them done before your arrival.

Im not sure, but there is a con the that week or so and some people will be out of town. It is usually the week after or before the 22nd.

:twisted: I am coming to NY on the 22nd of July. I'd like to get a chance to play sometime between then and the 29th. ALso SOMEONE SEND ME A COPY OF THE FLEET COMMAND RULES OR TELL ME HOW TO FIND THEM I LOOKED BOTH ON THIS SITE AND TIMS GAME DESIGN.

I have players for the spanish american war and would like to run it out here with the most current rules so that you could get some fresh feedback on the game.

It should be bloody for the russians even in victory...the fire problems from not stripping the ships should still be nasty, their gunnery would still have problems etc. I can see the russians winning a close range mauling contest..but not much else.

Well, I don't think it is a battle the Russians really want to fight; they desperately need to get into port and refit after the steaming they have done.

Unless the Japanese make a serious mistake, it is stacked against the Russians. Could they get lucky? Sure, but would have to be phenomenal luck.
