March 11 Gameathon

Here is the description, feel free to edit it a little. I also sent the event reg form. 10 players may even be pushing it, but I doubt we will get anywhere near that.

Magic Realm (1978)

# of players Min. 1, Max. only 10 (16 are possible by the rules!)

Avalon Hill's role playing game in board game format. Players move about on a hexagonal tiled world as they explore and fight monsters, etc.. This is a "deluxe" set with enlarged tiles and new pieces that have additional info on them to speed play and reduce rule referencing. We will play with a few optional rules. Beginners are encouraged, but we highly recommend you at least read "The Least You Need to Know to Play Magic Realm," an 8-page rule summary.

Ancients do pop up occasionally--Eric Paperman likes to run them. Not sure what rules sets are used.

Do ancients ever pop up for these things? DBA and Might of Arms in particular?

I know febuary is still being hashed out, but I would like to get the word out about the VTES/JYHAD game I am going to run. I know a large group of players I am trying to draw in to see if they would be willing to come out to play. So am I confirmed?

I have my write up ready and availble whenever you want it.

If you guys run Magic Realm in the opposite slot as the FCS D&D game, I think it would be a good crossover opportunity for the RPGers.

I'm planning on running Magic Realm.
Possibly with Vince Romeo as a Co-GM.

I will do Descent, 5 players. Either time slot is OK.

That sounds fine. Early or late? I'm assuming people have to bring their own decks?

I would be interested in running Vampire the Eternal Struggle. CCG on the 11th. of March.
