DAK - Game Background

Decided to write this for those that might be interested. I will try to keep it updated as time and schedule permits.

What is it? It is an AAR of an on-going game of DAK by The Gamers, who are now affiliated with Multiman Publishing (multimanpublishing.com). It was just re-released in a 2nd edition, but we are playing the first since that is what I own.

DAK is a simulation of the World War II in North Africa covering the period September 1940 thru November 1942. The map stretches from El Agheila in the west thru to the Suez Canal and slightly beyond: 5 maps at 5 miles per hex. Units are mostly battalions and brigades/regiments; there are some company-sized units, and the Italians field infantry divisions. The rules used are the Operational Combat Series v3.1.
