Summoning Spells
After doing my reading, here is my decision on summoning spells:
When a creature is summoned, it can act fully on the round it is summoned. This means movement, full attack, if appropriate, etc. Note, that unless the summoner can shout instructions that the creature will understand, it will typically go for the closest enemy.
When the duration is up, the creature disappears at the start of the summoner's action; the creature does not attack that round. The summoner can immediately summon another creature, if desired.
It is the player of the summoner's responsibility to know the stats and abilities of the summoned creature; if there is any question as to the correct stats to use please ask me. I will also review stats for critters that are likely to be used before the game.
