Re: Commitment: Who is playing

Alright, I have commitments from the following people:

Dave Cheng
Mark Russman
Swampy
Ben Ossenfort
Nathan Whitchurch
Jason Murphy
Jonah Thiessen
John Whitehead

As of now, registration is closed Cool

I'll be in touch for an organizational meeting, likely the weekend of the 8th. I'll send out an e-mail closer to that date.

Have book, will play (If there is still room)

Also i talked to ben yesterday, he thought maybe the game was full?

Myself and Mark are in. Ben is almost 100% sure he is in.

Player Cap

I will be capping the number of players at between 4 and 6. AM is a game that lends itself to smaller groups, so I don't mind playing with fewer if that is all we have.

What is Involved

I had someone ask me what was involved in making this commitment. Here is what I expect:

1) We will be playing twice a month; the days are likely to be variable, but if you aren't willing to make the time on a regular basis, then this won't be for you.

2) I don't expect everyone to own the game, but I do expect people to make an effort to learn the game system. If you can't seem to find time to read the book or make an effort, another game might be good for you.

3) Take the game seriously. I don't expect blood oaths or 400 page character biographies from all of you; I do expect some effort at roleplaying.

4) Contribute. When I run a game like AM, I want the players to be involved. Many decisions will need to be made by the PCs and players should be ready for debate amongst themselves. While I can make an NPC council and hand down decisions, I find it more entertaining and engaging to have the players make the decisions that will matter most to themselves. If steering the direction of the campaign frightens you or you like to screw around and wreck things, this isn't for you.

I envision this game lasting for awhile and would like it to be memorable for the players and GM alike.[/i]
