Magi Introductions
Guillo de Guerre
House Ex Miscellanea
Here is what you know about Guillo soon after meeting him.
Guillo is a combat mage, seasoned by direct battle experience. After passing his apprentice gauntlet, he spent several years fighting the Saracens in Iberia. His main magical strength comes not from spells of destruction, but from enhancing the abilities of the fighting men around him.
Guillo is often seen in armor, carrying a greatsword. His armor does not seem to burden him; he wears it as easily as another magus would wear robes. He is obviously strong and virile, but he walks with a slight limp. It’s probably a wound that did not heal properly.
He has ties of loyalty with a mercenary band led by Jean Paul Gautier. In fact, these men left Iberia with Guillo to come here to help establish the new covenant. Their pay is coming from our Italian sponsors. Guillo has fought with these men for years, and they are skilled at coordinating their attacks and defenses in a group effort. They have also come to trust that Guillo protects them with his Parma Magica, helping shield them from enemy sorcery. Most of these men are French, so language may be a problem.
Guillo obviously has the Gentle Gift, as can be seen with the close bond he has formed with these mundane mercenaries. Perhaps they are also influenced by his natural leadership (Inspirational +1).
Guillo is not a lab rat, and he has little patience for the study of books. He prefers to be out under the open sky, conducting combat drills with his men. Over time, you should expect this to be a regular occurrence. Guillo will ask those of you with combat magics to take part, so that the grogs become experienced seeing the different kind of spells that foes may use against us.
Guillo does not speak favorably of his parens, Nothus Vorax of House Tytalus. In fact, he speaks very little of him. You get the sense a rift developed between them when campaigning in Iberia.
Guillo rides a jet black Andalusian Charger. He calls it one of his favorite trophies from the campaigns against the Saracens. It is one of the finest horses you’ve ever laid eyes upon. It dwarfs the smaller animals of these lands.
Guillo tells you of his personal interest in coming to Scotland. He is researching legends and artifacts of Pralix, founder of House Ex Miscellanea. If you have any unique Intelligo magics that might aid him in this search, he is happy to discuss terms of trade.

No, I think it's the responsibility of each player to post their own material here. If they don't, that's their problem, especially if the GM is giving brownie points to those of us that do.
Thanks for that free Personal Vis Source, Mike!

Urien.
Urien is of House Verditius. Originally from Scotland, he has returned in the hopes of using the valuable resources to create wonderful magical devices. His parens sponsored him for the selection process to the new Covenant, and it is believed his parens are either of Scottish nobility, or friends with the nobility. There is a rumor that he was somehow involved in the choice of the Covenants location, but that’s only a rumor.
Urien stands but 5’6”, and is of thin build, but seems very confident. He is quite intelligent, and often comes up with unique solutions to problems. From several items he carries, its obvious that he is a craftsman capable of making both wood and metal jewelry. He has volunteered to provide several spells for the Covenants protection, and will continue to do so until other members are strong enough to assist or replace him. Urien has volunteered to keep and defend the library, and looks forward to expanding it.
He has volunteered the following information about his skills; to better the Covenant’s planning.
He is quite fluent in Gaelic.
He has been well trained in the Artes Liberales.
He has acquired some knowledge of the Local nobility.

Ambros of house Mernita is a small women who appears to be about 18 years old. She is a cheerfull and playfull most of the time and will gladly join in games when the children are brave enough to approach her. She admits to having faerie blood, which is evident in her angular features, slightly pointed ears, and bright (almost glowing) blue eyes (think dune). She is almost always accompanied by one of two companions. She is a native of scottland and so is her parens.
The first, Niam, is a very large (a foot tall and nearly hthe same wide) butterfly with psychadelic wings whose patterns will change ifyou stare at them too long. Niam speaks in a high pitched voice and is fluent in scottish. During the day it can be seen playing with the children for hours on end. When caught with the kids doing things they shouldn't (s)he has been known to disappear and often appears when people aren't looking. On one occasion a grog was cought staring at Niam blankly for several minutes, it took shaking him violently to wake him from his stupor.
Ambros's second companion seems to be an invisable creature named Ailfred that only Ambros can see and speak to. He sometimes imparts odd (and rarely true) information, but seems to keep most of the conversation to rude comments about the people around ambros. Niam has been known to save places at dinner for Ailfred, chastise grogs who bump into Ailfred and introduce him to new arrivals at the covenant.
Ambros's main ambitions are to find out more about her faerie heritage and explore the faerie rego in the caves.
