battletech

()

It is not really new but anyone can join in. 6-9 PM Thursday nights at Zombie planet at 6 PM we have just started playing a BT rpg campaign using mechwarrior 2 rules. We usually play alternate thursdays but the next 3 weeks will be just the campaign.

On the other thursdays we are running BT also but doing a classic BT miniature battles running through a campaign during a 3048 alternate era where the clans do not show up but the Inner sphere is gearing up for another succession war.

Any and all are welcome. Let me know if you are interested and I can let the guys running the games know to plan on you. Walk in are welcome also but it maybe a little harder to fit you in right away.

Re: battletech

Good to hear there's a regular Battletech group active. And thank you for sharing that info here with the SWA community.

In case you didn't know, Lou Myers, the local Fanpro Commando, will be running Classic Battletech regularly at SWA events (Game-a-thons and Council). That starts this month at the May 20th Game-a-thon.

Here's the event description...

Quote:

Saturday, May 20th, 5pm - 10pm+
War at Albert Falls
Lou Myers - GM
Classic Battletech
2-12 Players

The year is 3070, the Word Of Blake has launched its Jihad on the Inner Sphere and the Devil Reigns! World after world falls to the terrorist juggernaught and its minions! Hsien, a forested world in the so-called Chaos March is no exception! But, the ComGuards, the White Shield of Humanity lands on Hsien to liberate its people and the climatic conflict takes place at Albert Falls!

Also, we recently dusted-off the Battletech email list we built several years ago. It had something like 68 addresses, but over 30 of them are bouncing now.

But, that means we've still got a good list of about 30 BT players in and around the Capital District.

If you've got BT events you'd like us to help publicize, email a blurb to me at: dave@swa-gaming.org and I'll forward your message to the Battletech email list.

Hope to see you at the May 20th Game-a-thon.
