Marooned

Despite fending off an apparent mutiny, the passengers are forced to abandon ship after a fire starts during the fray and engulfs the Brinewolf. Using an assortment of flotsam, eight of their number swim (laden with equipment and a captured mutineer) to a nearby volcanic seamount. Several members search the landscape to find a tunnel stretching deep into the side of the island. Why was control of the Brinewolf usurped? Does their prisoner know? Where are they? How will they get back to civilization? What lies within the darkness of that tunnel?
