The FanCC is a fan based community of role players dedicated to building upon the foundation of the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition game and D20 System created by Wizards of the Coast. Longtime SWA member Inez Lord has been involved with this online community and has helped create some of the material available.

Open Gaming Foundation
The Open Gaming Foundation is a private organization, dedicated to supporting the ideals of the Open Gaming philosophy: That game rules and material that use those rules, should be free to copy, modify and distribute. (I think this means they support open support of the d20 game system.)

RPG Now is an online marketplace of downloadable game materials. A lot of the offerings are geared to the d20 game system, but there?s plenty of other stuff too. If you?ve got material you?d like to distribute, but you don?t have the money to publish in traditional paper format, this might be for you.

The big attraction here are the forums, which they describe as:"A free-for-all place for discussing roleplaying and much more." Lots of members...a very active site. Also has news, columns, and an online store.
