Feature Requests

Over the next few weeks, I'll be working on tightening up some details on the site, like getting the forms working again, making pages more visible to search engines, etc.

After that, I'll be looking toward the future, and that means new features. To that end, I've started this forum topic as a place where people can suggest and comment on future features.

Some useful tips in making suggestions:

1. Show rather than tell. If you know of a feature on anthoer site that you think we should have, provide a link to the site. You needn't put the html around the link, the site will do it for you. Like here: http://www.swa-gaming.org

2. Preference will be given to something that already exists as a Drupal module:

http://drupal.org/project/Modules

Note that we are running Drupal 5.1, so older modules may not work.

3. New features should compliment the site rather than provide alternatives to existing features. For example, the forums we are using are built into Drupal. There are modules to integrate other forums, but the decision has been made to use the built in one as the superior integration (which allows searching) is more important than subtle differences in the feature set.
