July Game-a-thon (Saturday, July 14th)

()

June's Game-a-thon was later in the month than usual, so if this one seems like it's coming soon after, it is!

Also, the July Game-a-thon is also officially "Swap Meet Thon". If you've got a bunch of gaming stuff you'd like to sell, we encourage you to bring it to the July Thon and get a swap meet table.  Tables (2.5 feet by 2.5 feet) are also half price this month.  So, your first table is only $1, two tables are $5 total, and three tables (the max) are $10 total.

If you're bringing merchandise to sell, we encourage you to post a list of what you're bringing here in this forum topic.

Please also note that if you come just to browse the Swap Meet, you will not be charged for your Game-a-thon entry. Feel free to come down to the Studio and look around.

For those of you who are planning on doing some gaming, here's the schedule...

Morning Session ( 11am - 4pm )
Evening Session ( 5pm - 10pm+ )

For more information, including full event descriptions, click here for the July Game-a-thon page.

Several event descriptions have links to BoardGameGeek. Check them out for game reviews, pictures, rules and player aids.

We hope to see you there.

I would like to make a character but I am a little confused.
The game sais level 11 here but when I was looking up the link

Re: Neutrality's Behest

Greg, et al.,

Sorry for the confusion. The game is a "Beginner" level FCSGL game. That means character levels 2 through 7, but if you are creating a new character. level 5 is recommended. You can create one 2 - 4 if you want, but not above 5.

This link will take you to a general description of the game's team levels.

For the most part, we run standard Edition 3.5. You can use any core book and any supplements (it will say "supplement" on the book). We allow some things in from the alternate world settings, but its best to stay away from those when you are just starting out.

If you run into any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. (fcs@firstduty.com)
