FCS Gaming League-D&D 3.5 rules
As the search for the Diamond Rose begins, Destiny now realizes that you will need to get into the castle at Murthos to talk and ask the Knights of the Chalice for their records, since they have the only records regarding the Diamond Rose and the power it possesses. A strange man who goes by Mr. Fantasy is your access to these records, but his trust is not easily received. Can you show Mr. Fantasy your worth as both combatants and conversationalists to earn his trust, a piece of his wealth, and access to the \"paladins\" castle?

1939 China vs Japan
A top ranking Chinese General is making front line inspections. And the Japanese are making a effort to grab him or kill him. Can the poor infantry hold until his staff car gets there?

Star Fleet Battles
GM—Dave Cheng
SFB Tournament Practice
No maximum
Star Fleet Battles is an intricate game of ship-to-ship combat in the classic Star Trek universe (the one Kirk explored). Many other races have been added for variety. Tournament battles are like tense chess matches, with each player trying to bring his ship¹s strengths to bear.

At the Star Fleet Training Academy, we'll have players of all types: veterans looking for some practice; guys who haven't played for years looking to shake off some rust; and new players still learning the game. All are welcome.

We're getting ready for two upcoming events: our annual road trip on August 25th for the Ithaca Cup grudge match; and the big SFB tournament at Council of Five Nations (October 5-7). The SFB tournament at Council is the largest in the country, and we're honored to host an event where we'll have players traveling in from around the country.

Heroscape
GM—Eric Paperman

"A Big Battle"
For a change of pace, we're going to try putting all the players on one big battlefield (using pieces from at least 2 master sets). Players are encouraged to bring their own armies, but the GM will also have some pre-made armies. Army construction rules are: 1. max of 300 points, 2. at least one card must be unique hero or unique squad, and 3. all cards must be from a single general [but one card can be from another general to make it a little easier to get costs to add up to 300].

A Game of Thrones
GM—Mike Haggett
3-5 players
Players take control of one of the great Houses of Westeros. Via resource management, diplomacy, and cunning, they seek to win dominance over the land. Players must give orders to armies, control important characters, gather resources for the coming winter, and survive the onslaught of their enemies.

Evening Session

RPGA Event--KEO6-06 The Price of Hospitality by Wayne Rosen (APL 2-8)
GM—Jonathan Choy
4-6 players
As political tensions run high in Keoland, our mighty heroes escape to the backwater Barony of Mill Creek. Surely danger couldn't follow them to this isolated area. Surely the scheming Keoish nobility would leave this boring farming community alone. Surely you must be joking. A Keoland regional adventure for APLs 2-8,

A one round RPGA Living Greyhawk Keoland Regional Adventure for characters level 1 through 11 (APL2-8). Characters must be created by RPGA Living Greyhawk Campaign Standards 597 version 7.5 rules, see http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/welcome . GM will have first level characters available.

Seventh Sea in Elizabethan England—To The Sound of the Guns!!
GM—Charles Morehouse
Up to 6 players
This swashbuckling role playing game will be run over several upcoming Game a Thons. Though each scenario stands alone, the entire sequence will tell a grander story. Beginners are encouraged to try the game while devotees may choose to play the whole tale, keeping the same character each time.
August’s event continues the tale begun in previous gameathons as violence threatens the peaceful Dorsetshire coast.

Mythology
GM—Nick Klercker
2-8 players
In this game for 2 to 8 players, each player takes on the persona and idiosyncrasies of one of the major Greek gods, and attempts to control the actions of the many and varied Greek heroes and monsters of the then-known world. The random events and Fates have the same sort of impact on play as they do in Kingmaker (some might say in Real Life), but some pre-planning is possible, and bad luck with one hero shouldn't ruin your entire day ... they _can_ come back from the dead too.

Robo Rally
GM—Ralph Mabb
2-7 players
Imagine that you're a supercomputer. Now imagine that you're bored. So you dream up a little contest for you and a couple of your supercomputing buddies. Your task is to move one of the stupid little robots out on the factory floor through a series of checkpoints scattered throughout the factory. The wrinkle, however, is that the factory floor is filled with all kinds of inconvenient (if not down-right deadly) obstacles located in various locations: conveyor belts, crushers, flame-throwers, pushers, teleporters, oil slicks, pits, et cetera. But the real fun comes when the robots cross each other's path, and suddenly your perfect route is something less than that...

Manifest Destiny
GM—Bill Dickerson
3-5 players
Manifest Destiny is a card-driven multi-player strategy game for 3 to 5 players set in North America from colonial times to the present. It combines the strategic components of earlier, longer civilization-based games with the elegance of streamlined European gaming. Designed to appeal to a wide range of gamers, Manifest Destiny combines several unique elements that require strategic balancing to succeed.
Each player controls a mercantile empire as it expands into territories containing new markets across the continent. Players use cash to purchase Progressions and tokens. Progressions give players additional capabilities during the game. Tokens are used for territorial expansion and to purchase Pioneers, cities and additional cards.
