RPGA Living Greyhawk Events for September Game-a-thon

Early Session:
KEOI5-01 Fast Times at Ravonnar High
On the northwestern border of Keoland a solitary fortress stands a lonely watch against the ever-present enemies of Keoland. Only a very few choose to call Ravonnar their home. Some come out of duty to their kingdom or their Order. Some come seeking fame and fortune across the Javan or in the abandoned ruins of the Rushmoors. Others come with a still darker purpose. And not all are quite as they may appear... A Keoland introductory adventure for 1st level characters only.

Late Session:
KEOI6-01 Forest of Scales
Loggers are disappearing, interrupting the retrieval of the Ironwood, and Lord High Admiral Duke Luschan Sellark Rhola VIII of Gradsul is not pleased. What appears to be an isolated incident in a small village on the Dreadverge is suddenly revealed to be part of something much larger. The locals of Anglar are not willing to present themselves to the dangers of the Dreadwood for mere gold - are you? A Keoland introductory regional adventure for first level characters only.

I will have other adventures prepared if higher-level RPGA play is desired, I just need to know if I need to bring another judge with me...

Note: In order to best

Note: In order to best handle the events for Council of Five Nations, I have lined up an alternate judge for September 15th, Kevin Hannel (some of you probably know Kevin from past Councils).

I get to drive down to Philly to get some of the adventures I need to judge for the judges for Council...

Twilight Struggle or Combat Commander

I'm willing to run 2 or 3 games of Twilight Struggle or Combat Commander: Europe. Not sure which would be a better draw.

I only have one set of each, but I could probably borrow a couple. Or players could bring their own, if they have a copy. Don't know how SWA would want to handle 2 player events like this. Let me know what you think.

So it would be 2-6 players. Could probably do more if players have a little experience. Afternoon or evening would be fine.

---

If you guys want to avoid the 2-player game at game-a-thons I will run Wellington. Evening only

Event for Sept Game-a-thon

Going to try 2:
Afternoon Session:
Flying Colors, Fleet actions in the Age of Sail
Boardgame
4-6 players
Scenario: Cape Finisterre (Calder's Action), 22 July, 1805

Evening Session
My Life with Master
Roleplaying
2-6 players
Players take on the role of minion to a dangerously brilliant, seriously disturbed pseudo-scientist in Eastern-Central Europe at the end of the 18th century (think of yourself as Igor to the GMs Dr Frankenstein). The goal is to gain enough love to break your sadistic dependence on this monster...or will you simply become him in the end?

My Submission for the Sept 15th Thon...

You can put me down for Acquire in the evening session.

You may want to put a note, that if we get 5 or more players, we run a third payout.

Sort of a warm up for when I run it at council.
