Game-a-thon Registration Confirmation and Payment

Thank you for registering for the upcoming Game-a-thon


The next step is to make your online payment. All our online payments are handled by PayPal.

You do not need to have a PayPal account to make online payments. You can also pay via Mastercard, VISA, American Express and Discover. Without going through PayPal, the SWA would not have the resources to handle credit card payments.


How much do you owe us?

Well, maybe nothing.

If you're GMing an event for us at this Game-a-thon, you owe us nothing. Thanks for helping make the event happen!

If you're a full-time student, we are happy to subsidize your gaming with the SWA. Welcome!


I'm not a GM, and I'm not a student...
Well, then you probably owe us something.  As a reminder:
Play one session = $ 4.00
Play two sessions = $ 6.00

If you would like Swap Meet tables to sell stuff (January, April & July only)
One table = $ 2.00
Two tables = $ 10.00
Three tables = $ 20.00  (the most you can get is three tables)


When making your online payment, you've got two options...


#1) Pay the flat fee, and we eat the processing costs

PayPal charges us 2.9% + 30¢ to process each payment. So, here's what gets taken out when we receive your electronic payment:

 almost 8%
$4.00 (One session)
 42¢
 over 10%


As you can see, for small payments like Game-a-thon fees, they take a pretty big percentage. It's not as bad for Council of Five Nations, when a typical registration is in the $15-25 range. But for Game-a-thons, we take an 8-10% hit - ouch!

If you're strapped for cash, please just pay the at-the-door rate ($6/4). We'll eat the processing cost.


#2) Pay the flat fee plus the markup

If the less-than-50-cents is not a problem for you, we think it would be very cool if you pay the markup when you submit your online payment.
Either way, we'll be very happy to see you at the Game-a-thon.


What if the game fills up during online pregistration, but I've already paid?

We'll email you and refund your money. We'll eat any processing costs incurred.


What if I'm registering for more than one person?

Please make only one payment! The processing fees are much worse when you send multiple small payments, as opposed to one larger payment. Please note in the comment field the names of the folks you're paying for, and everything will work out just fine.
